Kroger has recalled four types of seasoning after a sample from a South Carolina store tested positive for salmonella.
Kroger Ground Cinnamon, Kroger Garlic Powder, Kroger Coarse Ground Black Pepper and Kroger Bac’n Buds were produced on the same equipment as the product found with the contamination, according to a news release. The company has recalled all of the seasonings as a precaution.

The state’s sales tax holiday begins today and goes through Sunday. 
The holiday runs through the weekend and exempts certain school supplies, clothes and shoes from sales tax. This holiday also exempts hurricane and emergency preparedness items along with certain energy efficient appliances.
